Off-grid mode
Self-consumption
In self-consumption mode, the energy generated by the PV will be used mainly by the local load and the rest will be stored in the battery, with excess power going back to the grid. This is the default setting, which will increase the self-consumption rate and significantly reduce the bill.
The user can also choose to charge the battery with grid power if regulations allow. This will effectively solve the problem of running out of power from the PV system during the winter.
Enforce charging time
This mode is suitable for situations when the electricity price difference is large throughout the day.
Users can set the charging and discharging time and energy consumption priority in Force Charge Time mode and take advantage of the electricity price difference in G12 and G12w tariffs. So users can also charge the battery using grid energy.
Off-grid mode
In the event of a transmission grid failure, the UPS function will be automatically and seamlessly activated to ensure that your equipment runs without any power interruption.With the specially designed function, it can support the system to work as a backup power system or off-grid system.
The off-grid operation can also work when there is only a photovoltaic system as a power dunking system without any connection to the grid.
